Unwoman is a cellist-singer-songwriter, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, who in the Before Time performed at steampunk conventions and major events all over the US. Her song "The Heroine" was featured in both Welcome to Night Vale's "Triptych"
episode and the steampunk documentary Vintage Tomorrows.
In 2015 she received the Steampunk Chronicle Reader's Choice Award for Best Solo Musician and Best Album (Circling, Unwoman's personal favorite album, which you can download here).
She has also collaborated with Halou, Abney Park, Amanda Palmer, Anthony Jones & Monica Richards, Rasputina, Voltaire, and many other acts.
In August of 2021 Unwoman is releasing her eighth original (sixteenth full-length of any kind) album, Of My Own Space and Time I Am Queen.
